m is rebooting weekly playlists. needed a fresher spin, something…more acidic, something sweeter. don’t expect them on a consistent basis. we might get multiple Froot Juice boxes a week, maybe none for a while. consistent curation is inorganic so i’m not going to hold myself to a schedule. i’m an artist that paints and it’s a shame i haven’t been showing off my artwork.
first time back is the scariest but we’re here now…and with a domain!

so let’s talk music.
- Boom Boom by Lewis OfMan
- nu-alt inspired by the hectic, identity-less LA boulevards and alleys
- favorite part is the twinkle and crisp bass line
- thoughts: we’re white canvasses and the objective of life is make sure they’re not left blank
- Dolly by Tierra Whack
- hard-hitting truths that surface the fine line of the individualistic pressure we face, where’s the time for you if there ain’t enough time for me?
- sometimes i find myself in this cycle. i am so in love with what life offers that i load up my plate and don’t leave room for anyone else.
- Sun Moon by Cabu (the mood + the bridge) featuring Young Franco (the beat) & Noé (the bars in the chorus)
- don’t think i’ve ever heard Young Franco and Cabu on the same track but this is what they can produce (wow!)
- they only need 2:34 to drive it home. definitely need something to come in and make an 8-min, 3 part mix with this track.
- i love the song Superstar by Nana Lourdes.
- if you don’t know Lourdes, a Portuguese wonder marrying eccentricity with modern bedroom pop.
- her new album!
- so many good songs from her singles / EPs prior to the album, explore those first to better understand her Edna Mode energy.
- Flights by HÃ…N
- are you female and enjoy music by The 1975? if so, then you need to listen to this.
- sounds like BROODS but better vocals, sounds like LÉON but happier, King Princess but smoother, like Clairo’s older sister.
- Hakumei by KIRINJI featuring Maika Loubté
- soft french disco meets Japanese bullet train commute from the Tokyo business district to the nearby countryside
- ALIEN ON THE TUBE by Ric Wilson featuring Yellow Days
- only one way to end a playlist and that is with hard-hitting groove.
not generated with a deep-learining, autoregressive language model,
